Champion RED

Champion RED (チャンピオンRED) is a monthly Japanese seinen manga magazine published by Akita Shoten since 2002.

Initially published as a shonen magazine, things gradually changed when Jun Ito became the new editor-in-chief in 2006. The editorial policy of the magazine gradually expanded, strengthening the bishoujo line and series that contain a lot of moe and soft erotic element.

After a few years, in the March 2011 issue, the cover featured the new catchphrase «High quality and high-end seinen comic magazine!», showing a clear change in direction from the magazine’s initial concept.
