Vol.4 – Champion RED

Volume 4 cover variant released as an appendix of the magazine Champion RED n.10, October 2004.

Simply the rarest variant in the whole cosmos (wink wink) of Saint Seiya.

Episode.G, and especially its sequel, Episode.G – Assassin, are universally known for having some of the ugliest covers ever. They’re so overloaded with colors, details, and an absurdly shiny gold rendering on the armors that they’re downright tacky.

This artwork, though, by being almost monochromatic, with the protagonist blending into the background color, solves the problem at its core – becoming, hands down, the most aesthetically pleasing cover of the entire series.
