Vol.1 – Family Mart variant

Variant pack given as a bonus to those who purchased the magazine Young Jump n.15, March 2012 at the Family Mart convenience stores during the campaign period.

This variant is real treasure, and there are at least three reasons why:

1. It’s a Family Mart bundle. The iconic Japanese convenience store chain which, unlike its competitors, has released only a handful of exclusive covers over the decades.
2. It’s directly connected to a humorous Gantz variant (another series also serialized in Young Jump), since one of the sketches actually featured both works together.
3. Until recently, this cover was practically unknown. Nobody knew it existed, until it suddenly resurfaced like a ghost from the past. The fact that in 2025 we’re still discovering Japanese variants that came out more than ten years ago never fails to amaze me.

The series itself is extremely niche, but stumbling upon a new variant feels like spotting an unknown star: an incredibly rare and fascinating event.

Visually, it’s almost identical to the regular edition, except for Miku, dressed in snowy winter clothes.
