Anime #1 – MangaYo variant

Like the prior year with Jujutsu Kaisen, MangaYo announced a special Frieren campaign to celebrate the anime’s airing on Crunchyroll.

Two anime covers were produced, and from January 29th to February 4th 2024, whoever spent at least 50€ on MangaYo‘s online store would receive one of the two variants randomly. To have both you had to spend 100€.

This is cover variant #1. Unfortunately, the beautiful artwork loses its charm when applied to the volume.

A recent MangaYo summer wholesale campaign lowered the prerequisite and gave the chance to have it directly with a cost of 29€ for one cover, or 50€ for both, causing a bit of a headache to resellers and some questions about what is truly limited and what not to consumers
