Vol.42 – Checchetto variant B

Exclusive to Panini italian online store.

Volume 42 variant created specifically for the Italian market and illustrated by Marco Checchetto (Spider-Man, Daredevil…). Together with vol.42 – Variant A composes the entire illustration.

There was no shortage of controversy this time too, with Checchetto accused of falling behind with Berserk (Caska with short hair, two-horned Zodd…) and having a style that is too different from the source material.

In my opinion, even if not that faithful, this is a splendid reinterpretation from one of Italy’s leading artists in the world of comics.
