Vol.1 – Eclipse Leipzig variant (master edition)

Volume 1 limited edition sold exclusively at the publisher’s booth during the Leipzig Book Fair 2025 to celebrate the release of the new luxury edition in Germany. 

Achtung!! Panini’s German division just dropped a bombshell, quiet but deadly. 

In case you missed it: Berserk has been getting the luxury reprint treatment for a few years now. In some countries it’s called the “Deluxe Edition,” in Germany it’s the “Master Edition”, but that’s not really the point. What is important is that back in 2022, Panini Italy (Planet Manga) released an ultra-limited red variant for this edition;  just 216 copies priced at €200, and it caused an absolute frenzy. 

This German release It’s essentially the same Italian variant from 2022 at the same price. And here’s the twist: Panini Germany never acknowledged its existence in any official instagram or twitter channels, they simply dropped it completely under the radar. 

It was originally meant to be sold only through the publisher’s online store, but then disappeared entirely… only to suddenly show up at the Leipzig Book Fair, catching everyone off guard. 

It keeps the same color and vibe as the Italian edition, but with a few differences, black page edges (cool), and the engraved illustration that was on the back is now featured on the front (lazy).. What hasn’t changed is how insanely rare this crimson object of desire is.
