Jump SQ

Jump SQ  (ジャンプSQ), is a Japanese monthly shonen manga magazine. Published by Shueisha, the magazine launched on 2007, as a replacement for Monthly Shonen Jump, another manga anthology that Shueisha discontinued earlier that year. SQ pronounced “Square”, stands also for Supreme Quality.

Aimed at an older Shonen audience (young adult males), Jump SQ has different standards than Weekly Shonen Jump and its contents are more mature. Overall, the magazine focuses a lot on series that are in the dark fantasy or supernatural subgenre.

In 2024 Jump SQ had a circulation of approximately 99.167 copies per issue. At its peak, it was around 400.000 copies (source: Japanese Magazine Publishers Association – JMPA).
