Canal BD

Canal BD is a group of more than 160 independent bookstores specializing in comics, manga & graphic novels around France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Quebec.

Under the Canal BD Label, the network’s bookstores come together around common actions and several elements with:

• A Charter covering the qualities inherent in any independent specialist bookstore
• Two bimonthly comic book information magazines, Canal BD Magazine and Canal BD Mangamag
• A screen in the street window of each bookstore
• Productions: boxes, special editions at low prices, luxury prints, posters, bookplates, figurines, etc.

The development of the network is part of a strategy aimed at uniting independent booksellers, by offering them a range of tools (purchasing conditions, communication, commerce, management, etc.) capable of helping the businesses of members.
