Vol.2 – Little Red Riding Hood variant

Volume 2 cover variant exclusive to Animate and GAMERS stores, released to celebrate the series’ debut in Japan in tankobon format.

If you’re not familiar with the Japanese market, you should know that 99.9% of variant covers released in Japan are provided separately as loose dust jackets. Sometimes they’re included as magazine inserts, other times they’re given as purchase bonuses, or even won through lotteries or contests…but almost never pre-applied to the volume.

This is one of the rare 0.1% exceptions. You could almost call it a “Western-style” variant, given that releasing an alternate cover for the launch of a new series is quite common outside Japan.

Anyaway, the theme is Little Red Riding Hood, and it features an original illustration created specifically for the occasion. Together with its Alice in Wonderland counterpart, it forms a small fairy-tale-inspired set
