Girls – Young Jump Seed

Cover variant released as an appendix of the magazine Young Jump Seed, November 2013.

Bright pink and yellow colors, four girls on the cover, one parrot… exactly the first things that come to mind when you think of Tokyo Ghoul, right? Well, I suppose that’s part of the “success” and rarity of this variant. Its visual reference is so far removed from the original material that it can’t help but be intriguing.

Add to that the fact that the magazine it was included with was a one-off special (Young Jump Seed has no other issue), and voilà, you have the perfect recipe for an incredibly rare and highly in demand cover.
