Discover 2679 Variants for 429 Mangas from 13 countries

Paper variant released to celebrate the achievement of 200 million copies sold. Given as a bonus to those who purchased at least one Shueisha’s comic during the campaign period at Takeshima bookstores (竹島書店).
But here comes the tricky part. different bookstores gave away the same cover with the same illustration as a bonus… or at least apparently. Yes, because in reality, the covers had minor, almost unnoticeable details that differentiated them from each other. Every normal person would say «they are the same!!» but since collectors are borderline maniacally rigorous, here’s the breakdown
5 versions of the cover were produced:
V3 is the only cover in which the artwork ends on the edges that must be folded onto the comic, so Chopper, Zoro the “o” and the “e” of One Piece writing are not visible when the cover is applied to the volume. The bookstore logo is on the bottom-right corner.
So in the end, should you collect all the different versions and flex them around? I think it would be one of the most pointless efforts a collector can ever make, but if you’re crazy enough to do so, let me shake your hand and congratulate, you are truly on another level
