10th Melonbooks Manga festival – variant

Twice a year (winter and summer), Melonbooks chain stores hold a “Manga Festival campaign” where for every 1.000 yen spent (~6.5$) you get 1 point. Rules changed a bit over the years but at the core, it was always the same: spend and earn points.

At the end of the campaign which usually lasts 2 months, you can redeem your earned points with various gifts. Prizes are always manga-related goods like postcards, tapestries, canvases, folders, and cover variants.

This cover was the prize for the winter 2020 campaign. You could have gotten it with 8 points.
