Animate fair – cover

Once a year, Animate chain stores hold an “Animate book fair” where you get 1 point for every comics-related product purchase. Rules changed a bit over the years but at the core, it was always the same: spend and earn points.

At the end of the campaign which usually lasts 2 months, you can redeem your earned points with various gifts. Prizes are manga-related goods like postcards, tapestries, canvases, folders, and cover variants.

This cover is one of the prizes for the 2007 fair campaign. The illustration is the same as the regular edition; the only difference is the detail of the moon and the title, which appear in blue instead of red.
