Volume 30 cover variant released to celebrate the series’ ending in Argentina.
Oi oi oi, Argentine publisher Ivrea, what have you done?! Looks like someone at Shueisha’s foreign editions department let this cover slip through…
That said, I’m sure Masakazu Katsura would be proud and fully on board: the regular version with Iori’s face, and the variant with… well, her butt! Bold choice, very bold indeed. Hats off to you.
Jokes aside, this is a legendary cover and one of the most famous in the Argentine market. Released in 2005, back when manga in Argentina came in the “slim” format, where each volume had half the pages of a Japanese tankobon (which explains why this is numbered #30, even though the original series only has 15 volumes).
Argentine variants haven’t typically been sought after by collectors worldwide, but this one is an absolute must-have. Practically impossible to find, and even harder to get in near-mint condition.
Ass-kicking cover
