Heiji variant – し “Shi” version

To commemorate the release of the 21st animated movie “Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter” a special campaign was held at participating bookstores.

Hattori Heiji-related variant covers were given as a bonus to those who purchased at least one volume of Detective Conan.  5 designs were available.

On the front covers there are distinctive elements of Osaka (Heiji’s city and where the movie is set) while on the spine the 5 covers combined together form the writing しのぶれど  “Shi-no-bu-re-do”,  one of the cards from the Karuta game, tied to movie’s plot
