Aokishi celebration – Kinokuniya cover

After 12 years of publication in the magazine Harta (Enterbrain), the series A Bride’s Story was moved to a newly born magazine, Aokishi (Kadokawa), which debuted with its inaugural issue in 2021.

For the occasion, a promotional campaign was held at Kinokuniya Bookstore Grand Front Osaka where 7 original covers were drawn by manga authors whose series would be published in the magazine. Kaoru Mori was one of the main authors and created not one but two illustrations: one for “A Bride’s Story” and the other for “Shirley Madison”, both published in the new magazine.

A cover of choice was given as a bonus to those who purchased the first issue of Aokishi during the campaign.
