Saint Seiya: the Lost Canvas

Spin-off based on the manga series Saint Seiya.

Serialized in the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion from august, 2006, to April, 2011.

The manga tells the story of the previous Holy war of the universe of Saint Seiya, taking place in the XVIII century, 250 years before the original manga. The story centers on the relation between Tenma, the Pegasus Saint and his beloved friend, Alone, who would eventually become his greatest enemy, Hades.

In 2021, a single tankobon named The Lost Canvas – Extra edition was released. It’s a compilation of one-shot stories that were irregularly published in Champion RED during the years. It contains side stories not told in the main series or in the Gaiden/Anecdotes.
