Phantom Blood – Jojo part 1

1st part of the larger JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. The arc was serialized for more than 10 months; from January 1987, to October of that same year in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump.

The story is set in England in the middle-to-late 1880s and follows Jonathan Joestar, the heir of the wealthy Joestar family, and his adoptive brother Dio Brando, who wishes to take the Joestar fortune for himself.

The manga and the style of Araki will evolve immensely, turning Jojo into the 120 million-selling, two-decade-long hit that it is today.
