Thanks to the explosion of the star Antares, some humans begin to develop superpowers. Renamed “Altered”, they are frowned upon by the government, which decides to exile them to a special prison on an island, called Area D. Jin Kazaragi, an S-rank altered, is looking for his older brother Ren.
