Lawson collab – Tsugano Gaku vers.

In 2011, the convenience store chain Lawson launched a special collaboration with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series.

Starting on August 25th and available while supplies lasted, anyone who purchased any volume of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (or its spin-offs) received one of three exclusive covers, chosen at random.

The three covers were specially illustrated for the occasion by three different artists:

• Tsugano Gaku, illustrator of the manga (this one)
• Noizi Ito,  illustrator of the light novel
• Puyo,illustrator of the spin-offs The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan and The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan
