Vol.19 – Collab variant

Volume 19 cover variant released as an appendix of the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion n.33, July 2009.

A special cover born from a collaboration between Keisuke Itagaki (Baki) and Kenji Hamaoka (Super Radical Gag Family). To celebrate 40 years of Weekly Shonen Champion, two of the magazine’s longest-running authors created an alternative cover for each other’s works.

The result? Kenji Hamaoka, with his signature grotesque style, delivers a cover for Baki #19 that’s as hilarious as it is ugly. You might love it or hate it, that’s a matter of personal preference. But one thing’s for sure: it’s rarity is over the top.
