Volume 1 limited edition released during DIGI CON 2021, a four-day digital event with authors, cosplayers, content creators, and members of the Tokyopop editorial team. DIGI CON was an online event created by the publisher during the COVID-19 emergency to allow fans to live the experience of a fair, but from home.

A niche variant but incredibly captivating, featuring a hardcover binding with metallic carmine red lettering. What stands out the most for me, however, are the entirely black-colored edges of the volume. This aesthetic touch, often seen nowadays in fantasy novels, makes it look anything but a manga.

The outdoor photoshoot in the woods, complete with an extremely cringy video, adds an extra layer of charm to the whole operation.

Buyers also received a Tite Kubo shikishi, while supplies lasted.
